San Diego engagement sessions
Engagements , San Diego engagement photographer
The approach
An afternoon somewhere that actually means something to you. And a gallery that looks like you two, not a Pinterest board.
Think of the session as the warm up, for both of us. We walk, you two talk, I shoot. A favorite beach, the neighborhood where you met, somewhere brand new. Your call.
Plan on about ninety minutes, and bring a second outfit if you want variety. It should feel less like a photo shoot and more like a long walk where I happen to have a camera.

03 · The investment
Two sessions. Pick your pace.
Every keeper gets a real edit, and they're all yours. No watered down previews, no paying twice for the shots you actually want. Most comparable San Diego sessions run $500 to $700. Mine don't. That's on purpose.

05 · Common questions
Asked before
you ask.
We're so awkward in front of a camera.
+
Basically everyone says that, and it's fine. I give you easy things to do, walk this way, talk to each other, ignore me, and the real shots happen in between. Almost nothing in these galleries was posed.
Where should we do the session?
+
Somewhere that means something to you. The beach you always end up at, the neighborhood where you met, a trail, your backyard. If you're stuck, tell me the vibe you're after and I'll suggest a few San Diego spots where the light does the heavy lifting.
What should we wear?
+
Whatever you actually feel like yourselves in, ideally not too matchy. Bring a second outfit if you want some variety. Once we lock a date I'll send a couple of simple pointers, nothing complicated.
When do we get the photos?
+
A sneak peek within a few days, then the full edited gallery soon after. Every keeper is included with print rights, so you're never paying twice for the shots you actually want.
What if it rains or we need to move it?
+
We just find a new window, no stress. Weather and golden hour both have opinions, so staying flexible usually gets you better photos anyway.
Can this roll into our wedding coverage?
+
Definitely. The session is a great warm-up for both of us, and the 8-hour wedding package includes an engagement session on me. If you're thinking about both, mention it and we'll sort it together.
